PAINTED ROSEBUSH

CHATEAU PICOMTAL, FRANCE

Trompe L'Oeil Decorative Painting Studios

created this lyrical painted decoration in the east tower of Chateau Picomtal, a newly restored luxury hotel in the French Alps. Our artists showcased their skills of trompe 'oeil 'fool-the-eye' painting with the combination of playful rose branches on faux travertine, using cast shadows to strengthen the illusion.

TROMPE L'OEIL ARCHITECTURE

BOSTON'S OLD CITY HALL

Our decorative artists painted this illusion of  trompe l'oeil Corinthian column capitals in the entry of Boston's Old City Hall, replicating  the original Second Empire interior decoration.

Our client also commissioned a series of

historical murals in Old City Hall's foyer which

have become a pubic art landmark on Boston's Freedom Trail.

Visit the Trompe L'Oeil Painting Section of our Portfolio to see more trompe l'oeil ornament.
